Close shave for Army Jawans as water currents in Chenab sail boat to Pak

AKHNOOR: Army personnel had a close shave when a boat, they were sailing as a part of routine training in river Chenab, sunk due to fast water currents in Akhnoor area.
Details revealed that around five army Jawans were practicing in a boat near village Hamirpur Kona of Pargwal last evening, but suddenly it started sinking due to fast water currents. Sensing trouble, the Jawans jumped out of the boat and managed to reach river banks safely. However, the boat crossed IB and entered into Pakistan territory.
