J&K fast progressing towards development: Col Mahan

BASOHLI: Col Mahan Singh (Retd) DDC Chairman and Ex-President Pahadi Zila on Thursday hoisted National Flag at Basohli to mark 2nd anniversary of abrogation of article 35A and 370 from the Indian Constitution as a historical decision today.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Mahan termed this as a bold and historic decision which has since rushed golden era for the J&K UT and put the erstwhile state on development track. He said that with the abrogation of controversial Articles, the undue Kashmiri dominance has been broken. He said that today the terrorists are being neutralized, corruption is being end and the J&K is fast progressing towards development. He also remembered all the sacrifices by party activists, security personnels and common masses to achieve the aim and said that BJP has kept its promise.
Besides Col Mahan Singh, BDC Chairperson Basohli, Shri Ram Chand Ex BDO, Capt Harnam Singh, Rajinder Prohit, Shiv Padha, Kewal Singh and other were present. Similar events were held in other Mandals of Billawar and Bani.
Meanwhile, BJP workers also celebrated Ekatamik Diwas at Mahanpur with enthusiasm amid chanting slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. National flag was hoisted by Col Mahan Singh at Ram Lila Ground, Main Bazar Mahanpur. Ram Chand, District Vice President, Sonu Gupta, Sher Singh, Darshan Kohli, Parmod Singh and other BJP karyakartas in large number were present.
Similarly, Col Mahan Singh (Retd.) hoisted National Flag at Saheed Rajinder Singh Chowk and paid floral tribute at the statue of Kargil War Hero Hav Rajinder Singh. The event was organised by Purab Sanik Seva Prashid to mark 2nd anniversary of abrogation of article 35A and Article 370 of Indian Constitution.
Those present were Capt Des Raj, Capt Harnam Singh, Capt Nek Ram, Ex-serviceman Sher Singh, Hoshiar Singh and others.
