The garden of bliss is a beautiful destination that anyone can enter. You can manifest this garden in the real world and in your day-to-day life as well by understanding the real purpose of your life’s journey. The beautiful place further leads you toward self-discovery and awakening of your soul; but how to enter this garden of bliss? For that, you have to discover your spiritual self while exploring various layers of the soul.
It may sound complex and the task may seem to be arduous. But it is not! You can effortlessly start your journey towards this space of bliss through the simple practice of meditation.
What is Meditation?
Meditation is nothing but being completely attentive to any task. In fact, it is important to be mindful of everything you do. When we are able to focus, concentrate, connect, and immerse ourselves, we can say we are in a state of meditation. Our scriptures define meditation as a state when the mind comes to a ‘No-Mind State’ and when it turns thoughtless; when it becomes completely quiet, and dissolves.
Further, meditation helps the mind in a big way to focus on a single point and free it of unnecessary thoughts. Through certain techniques, you can make your mind serene and clear like a mirror in which you can see your true self.
So, to become thoughtless and to connect with the inner self is meditation. In this state, all anxiety and worries cease and you turn into a calm and peaceful soul living your life happily. But, practicing meditation is not that easy as well because it involves the mind and the mind is a humongous mixture of thoughts.
The Nature of Mind
Your mind augments anything that it focuses on. If it focuses on hatred, then there will be nothing but hatred all around you. When it focuses on love, then you’ll find love everywhere. If this mind concentrates on fearlessness, it will fill you with guts. If it focuses on cowardice, it will turn you into a timid person, no matter how physically strong you are. A mind filled with endurance will make you uncomplaining. And if your mind focuses on happiness, then it will search for happiness all around and spread happiness too.
