Birla Open Minds International School felicitates meritorious students

JAMMU: Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS) , Jammu, aims to give students a window to the wider world.
Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary, Chairperson, had a vision for setting up a school that would ensure that the students develop the skills that a sound education provides and the competence essential for success and leadership.
The school organised a felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and applaud the achievements of the students who excelled in academics and brought laurels to school in the Class 12th and 10th CBSE Examination.
Abhay Sharma, was the overall topper with 96.2% marks (Non-Medical) in grade XII and Shujat Ali Wazir was the overall topper with 92.8% marks in grade X. The stream toppers, from grade XII were Orkopriya Chowdhury (Commerce), Manyata Bhagat (Humanities) and Muqadisa Munshi, Adnan Manzoor from grade X. All students scoring 90% and above marks were felicitated in the presence of parents and teachers.
Principal Dr Mukherjee congratulated the students and teachers and encouraged them to develop their unique identity, confidence and serve humanity. She also expressed her belief that success comes as a result of united and consolidated efforts by every member of the team and hoped staff and students would continue to work in unity for the betterment of the school.
