GDC Samba organises plantation drive

SAMBA: NSS unit of GDC Samba organised a plantation drive in the college campus. 60 volunteers participated in the drive to make the college clean and green under the Swachhta Pakhwada programme.
Dr. Naveen Anand, Principal of the college encouraged volunteers to plant more and more trees and take care of their plantations. All the volunteers planted various flower plants in flower beds with great zeal showing their love towards the Nature. The Principal stressed that college students must be connected with sapling plantation and awareness programmes which are key factors to encourage citizens to protect environment by planting trees. Plants should be grown to keep the environment green, clean, safe and healthy.
Students showed great enthusiasm in planting them in the plantation drive. The activity was organised under the supervision of Dr. Narsing Dass NSS Programme Officer in association with Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Asha Devi, Dr. Rajni Sharma and Mr. Sanjeev Jamwal
