STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Inter zonal district level volleyball competition of under-19 age group of boys commenced on Friday at Khel Gaon Nagrota, near here. The competition in being organized by Department of Youth Service Sports District Jammu under the chairmanship of M.A Bhat Director Youth Services Sports JK UT and overall Supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma DYSSO Jammu in which all participants were drawn from 14 Zones of District Jammu are going to participate. ZPEOs, Technical officials and other field staff and Committee Members were deployed for the smooth conduct of this tournament. The main aim of the tournament is to select best players for the next level of the competition coming ahead. The organized committee members Ram Murti, Saleem-ur-Reham, Yashpal Sharma,.K. Bhat and other officials of the district office Jammu were present at the venue. Today’s Results: Zone Dansal beat Zone Gandhi Nagar by 2-0; Zone Jourian beat Zone Bhalwal by 2-1; Zone Arnia beat Zone Chowki Choura by 2-0; Zone Marh beat Zone Bishnah by 2-1; Zone Khour Beat Zone R.S Pura by 2-0; Zone Miran Sahab got walkover by Zone Jammu; Zone Khour beat Zone Miran Sahab by 2-0; Matches were officiated by panel of experts of the Department.
