Two arrested with 30,000 banned capsules

JHAJJAR KOTLI: Police on Friday nabbed two drug peddlers and recovered 30,000 banned capsules from their possession.
As per details, a party of Police Post Manwal led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspr. Devinder Singh assisted by In-Charge Police Post Manwal Inspr. Vikram Singh Jasrotia while on Naka duty rounded up two suspects namely Shoket Ahmad, son of Md Sultan Tantray and Mashkoor Ahmad, son of Ab Ghani, both resident of Reshipora, Kupwara on a vehicle (JK05C – 8090). On search of their belongings, about 30,000 banned capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon were recovered. The duo was arrested and FIR No. 134/2021 under sections 8/21/22/25/29 of NDPS Act was registered against them at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli. The overall arrest and recovery was made under supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh. Further investigation of the case is going on.
