BISHNAH: Continuing its drive against menace of illicit liquor, Bishnah police destroyed 15 litres of Lahan and arrested a woman.
As per details, an input was received through reliable sources at Police Station Bishnah regarding illicit liquor in Bishnah area. Acting swiftly, police teams of Police Station Bishnah were formed under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan. A team led by SHO Bishnah Insp Joginder Singh rushed to the spot and recovered 15 litres of Lahan, which was destroyed.
FIR No. 130/2021 under section 48 (A) was registered at Police Station Bishnah and accused, identified as Rani Devi, wife of Kamal Dass, resident of Chak Murar, Tehsil Bishnah was arrested on the spot.
