NEW DELHI: To commemorate the 75th Independence Day in a befitting manner, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, CISF in collaboration with AIIMS (Department of Blood Transfusion), New Delhi, is organising a week long mega blood donation camp starting from Monday.
Sudhir Kumar Saxena, DG CISF inaugurated Mega Blood Donation Camp at CISF NHCC Hospital, Mahipalpur, New Delhi today.
During the camp, Saxena along-with other senior officers of CISF HQrs and Officers and personnel of NCR & Delhi based unit of CISF New Delhi voluntarily donated blood.
This blood donation camp will continue till August 13, 2021, wherein more force personnel and other volunteers will donate the blood. Saxena appreciated the blood donors who have voluntarily come forward for this noble cause. He said that CISF regularly organises humanitarian activities of such nature and would continue the same in future also.
