STATE TIMES NEWS MAHANPUR: In order to celebrate 75th year of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav), Govt. Degree College Mahanpur is organising series of activities and on Monday a slogan writing competition was organised. The event was organised by Dr. Sapna Devi, NSS Progamme Officer under the supervision and guidance of Principal of the college Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul. He emphasised the need of inculcating national feeling among staff and students keeping in view the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mohatav’ significances. He also focussed on the rights and duties of Indian citizens. On this day a total number of 15 students participated in the event and the 1st position was bagged by Sakshi Billawria of 4th Semester, 2nd position was clinched by Arti Devi of 4th Semester and 3rd position was taken by Anamika Rani of 2nd Semester. E-Certificates were given to all the winners. Principal of the college congratulated the winners of the competition and appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee comprises of Dr. Sapna Devi, NSS PO, Dr. Balbinder Singh, convener IQAC.
