UDHAMPUR: Volunteers of Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti (MUSS) branch Udhampur organised a plantation drive here in Udhampur. Dedicated volunteer Suram Chand Thappa said with the inspiration of Satpal Maharaj number of trees have been planted by Samiti branch Udhampur under the supervision of Mahatma Samta Bai in charge Maa Rajarajeshwari Ashram Udhampur in the premises of Higher Secondary School Battal Ballian in the presence of Rashpal Singh, Principal of School, Sunita Devi, Sarpanch, Deep Singh, Naib Sarpanch, Suman Sharma, Panch.
On the occasion Samta Bai said that by cutting of trees in the name of development, shortage of oxygen natural disasters like floods, landsliding and global warming are noticed. In order to make India Green and clean, more and more plants are necessary to be planted. It was disclosed that Samiti has started massive plantation drive through out the country.
