BUDGAM: Police on Monday arrested a person involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals from Harwani Khansahib area of Budgam.
As per details, a party of Police Station Khansahib arrested a person and seized a JCB involved in illegal excavation and transportation of raw minerals from Government land at Harwani, Khansahib area of Budgam. The arrested person was identified as Fayaz Ahmad Khan, son of Mohd Akbar Khan, resident of Hariwani Khansahib. Accordingly, FIR No. 187/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Khansahib and investigation started.
