Three nabbed with sharp-edged weapons

JAMMU: A major crime incident was averted by Chatha police by arresting three accused with sharp-edged weapons.
As per the details, information was received through reliable sources at Police Post Chatha that some unknown persons were carrying sharp-edged weapons and planning to attack some person. On this a police team of Police Post Chatha led by In-Charge Police Post Chatha Inspr Rakesh Roshan established special Nakas and finally arrested three persons with sharp-edged weapons near ring road Manguchak Chatha.
The accused were identified as Manjeet Singh, son of Jeet Singh, resident of Malikpur Miran Sahib; Sukhvinder Singh, son of Joginder Singh, resident of Simbal Camp and Harmeet Singh, son of Isher Singh, resident of Makhanpur Gujran Miran Sahib. FIR No. 206/2021 under sections 4/25 of Arms Act was registered against them at Police Station Satwari. The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO City South P K Mengi.
