JAMMU: Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society celebrated 75th Independence Day under the chairmanship of Rajinder Parshad Kakkar, President TNWS Jammu.
Neeraj Puri (Lucky Ji) Gandhi Nagar Mandal President BJP Jammu was Chief Guest of Flag hoisting ceremony. Rajinder Kakkar presented the details of activities of team TNWS. He said that public library for residents of Trikuta Nagar Colony will be open in coming days. He said TNWS arranged camp for distribution of ration cards with association of FSC&CA Department Jammu, a COVID-19 vaccination camp association with Sachdeva Neteraly Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
He added that team TNWS in association with Disha NGO to collect the solid waste from door to door in Trikuta Nagar Colony Jammu and make the colony clean and green.
After flag hoisting ceremony, the Chief Guest Neeraj Puri appreciated the efforts of team TNWS Jammu and assured full co-operation to them in future. Team TNWS also felicitated Yogesh Kumar Sharma, area inspector of FSC&CAD for his hardworking manners to help for seeding Aadhaar card in ration cards of Trikuta Nagar residents. Team TNWS presented appreciation certificate to him.
To Mark the 75 th independence day celebration team TNWS Jammu distributed plants to the participants one plant each and requested to look after the plants to make our colony clean and green which is motto of our society.
Ashok Kumar Arora, Pattern TNWS presented vote of thanks. Besides the large gathering of residents Advocate Harshwardhan Gupta General Secretary TNWS, Vijay Gupta Secretary, Rajani Rohmetra Secretary, Rekha Mahajan Secretary BJP, Indu Puri , N.K Bali Secretary TNWS Jammu were participated in the function.
