50-year-old man murdered in Domana over old rivalry

In 2008, victim had murdered accused’s father

JAMMU: A 50-year-old man was stabbed to death in Domana area when members of rival group clashed at Akhalpur area falling under jurisdiction of Doman police station on Monday evening.
Deepak Singh, son of Janak Singh, resident of Gho-Manhasan was stabbed to death while his associate received injuries when assailants led by Vishu Singh attacked the duo with sharp-edged weapons at Akalpur, Domana near Vimal Vidayala School. Deepak Singh died on spot while Jaswinder Singh (40) son of Rattan Singh, resident of Akhalpur, Domana received injuries and shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment. The body of Deepak Singh has been shifted to GMC mortuary. Police said, an old rivalry is reason behind the brutal murder. In 2008, Deepak Singh had murdered Sain Dass, father of Vishu Singh and got released from jail in 2017. Police has launched a manhunt to nab culprits, who managed to flee after committing murder.
