RAJOURI: A lecture and awareness drive on the theme “Know Your Army Mela” was conducted for students and teachers of the school children and local populace at GHSS, Dabbar Potha, Nowshera in district Rajouri (J&K). The day long programme under “Know Your Indian Army” initiative was specifically organised to spread awareness amongst students about routine functioning of the Indian Army. During the drive they were shown various weapons followed by a motivational movie and a presentation on various entry schemes into the Indian Army.
The Zonal Educational Officer, Mohd Rashid, thanked the Indian Army for this initiative and further added that this initiative will go a long way in motivating the young blood to join the Army and serve their country. A Large number of student attend the event.
