SHOPIAN: The District Magistrate (DM), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, who is also the Custodian of Migrant’s property on Tuesday issued instructions for demarcation, preservation and protection of migrants’ immovable property and removal of encroachments from there immediately. With a view to provide relief to migrants of Shopian and to protect their properties in the district, the District Magistrate has proposed demarcation and protection of their immovable properties.
To streamline the demarcation, preservation and protection efforts, the District Magistrate has vast powers under the Agrarian Reforms Act.
