JAMMU: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), youth wing Jammu, held a protest against PDD and Irrigation Department 2021 in presence of Jammu/Poonch Lok Sabha youth President Sunny Kant Chib and District youth President Sansar Singh.
They expressed great resentment for acute shortage of water in Ranbir Canal at its ends and said that erratic & irregular power cuts have further compounded the miseries of farmers by interrupting working of water pumps. They urged the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and other concerned authorities to look into the matter compassionately to mitigate the sufferings of farmers of border areas of R S Pura and Bishnah.
Rajesh Bali, Om Prakash Sharma, Ram Pal Khajuria, N.P Singh, Rahil Mahajan and Hassan Malik were also present in the protest.
