IMPARD holds sports meet for JKAS probationers

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD), Jammu organised sports for JKAS probationers Batch 2019 undergoing week-long evaluator phase of their offline training programme.
These probationer officers took active part in Athletics events of Cross Country and Shot Put; Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom.
In Cross Country, Mayank Sharma and Monika Sambyal bagged first position in women and men section respectively. Similarly, in Chess and Table Tennis, Faisal Nagir secured the titles. In women’s TT event, Roohi Khajuria emerged winner.
In another Athletics event of Shot Put, Rahul Sharma bagged first place with 11.28 meters throw in men section while Peunika Marwaha won girls title with 7.37 meters. In Carrom, Sashank Padha and Mallika Raina bagged stood first.
The events organized by a team of officials form Department of Youth Services and Sports led by Physical Education Lecturer (PEL) and NIS qualified in Athletics, Nirmal Singh.
