Cancer Specialist from J and K Dr Deepak Abrol has been selected for Prestigious Fellowship of Indian College Of Radiation Oncology. His name was proposed by Dr Rajesh Vashistha President AROI and Seconded by Dr Swarupa Mitra, Senior Consultant RGCI Delhi before being unanimously cleared by Governing Council of ICRO.
Indian College of Radiation Oncology is Academic Wing of AROI and is involved in Academics in Radiation Oncology all over the country.
This Fellowship is awarded to
an individual who Stands out in the profession as a person of distinction at the national/ international level.
He or She should Have distinguished himself/herself in the profession, as a physician in his/her specialty; and/or
in service to Medicine in patient care, teaching, public health work and/or health administration.
The intimation was sent by Dr V Srinivasan, Secretary ICRO and Dr Satyajeet Pradhan, Chairman ICRO.
Dr Abrol has to his credit 30 Research publications( National and International) and has been in Organizing Committee of various National and International Conferences apart from working for Survivorship in Cancer Care. He is Founding Editor of The Integrated Indian Journal of Cancer Sciences and Founder of CRAB-E-CON and LBNROH a Cancer Care Foundation.
Pertinent to mention that Dr Deepak Abrol is working as Assistant Professor in GMC KATHUA and is General Secretary of Association of Radiation Oncologists of India North Zone Chapter.
