JAMMU: Raksha Bandhan was virtually celebrated by JK Public School Panjtirthi with full enthusiasm and zeal. The festivals bring with them a wave of excitement, happiness and hope.
Jakiians said that Rakhi is not merely a silken thread but a tradition that binds brother and sister in a beautiful relation.
Jakiians as narrators, dancers, singers, performed to their best of abilities. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirits
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah expressed, “India’s festivals reflect the country’s rich cultural heritage. We must understand the true essence of this festival and the sacred relation.”
She further added that this tradition symbolizes Raksha which means protection and Bandhan which means bond.
