DDC Vice Chairman vows to resolve power, water crises at Mata Sarthal Devi temple

BANI: Every year on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, hundreds of devotees from Bani Bhadarwah areas throng Mata Sarthal Devi temple to seek blessings of the deity.
On the occasion, DDC Vice-Chairman Kathua, Ragunandhan Singh Jasrotia; President Municipal Committee Lakhanpur, Ravinder Sharma and Advocate Rakesh Thakur visited the Shrine and offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Langer Committee of Sarthal Devi Mata welcomed the visiting dignitaries. The committee members apprised the DDC Vice-Chairman about the problems being faced by them including road, power and water supply. They said that due to lack of proper water and electricity arrangements in the temple premises, people visiting the temple faced immense hardships.
The DDC Vice-Chairman assured the committee members to resolve this grave issue at the earliest and assured to provide water supply and electricity within short notice.
