KATHUA: SSP Kathua R C Kotwal on Monday held a Darbar with Jawans at District Police Lines Kathua. Addl SP Kathua Suresh Kumar Chib alongwith all supervisory officers/ SHOs of Kathua district graced the occasion. Approximately 90-100 Jawans including 20 NGOs of various Police establishments of District Police Kathua participated in the Darbar. Grievances raised by NGOs and jawans redressed on spot and directions have been given to the concerned to do the needful within a weeks time. Addressing the Darbar, SSP Kathua appreciated the role of Kathua Police in tackling the situation of Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to this SSP Kathua , advised the jawans to focus on their duties and maintain discipline while performing duties. It is impressed upon the officers/officials to gain public confidence, good will and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people. Officers/officials were also directed to listen the grievances of people patiently. SSP Kathua exhorted the officers and jawans to keep do good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing their duties.
