JAMMU: An Intra-Class Heritage Quiz Contest was organized at JK Public School Kunjwani for Class X students. The contest was held online on Zoom Platform wherein 10 teams participated. School Principal Vandana Sharma and Vice Principal Shashi Rattan were the Guests of Honour on the occasion.
The Department of Social Sciences prepared interesting and brain-tickling questions for the participants.
The research team consisted of Renu Uppal, Satwant Kaur, Rena Sanyal and Seema Angural.
It focused on Indian states with special attention to North-Eastern states, National symbols, Wild life, National Parks, Dance, Music, Indian history and famous personalities.
The Quiz was conducted in three rounds comprising different segments.
Rena Sanyal was the Quiz Master, handling all the sections. Observers were Rajni Sharma, Sunny Tikoo and Seema. The scorers were Nikhil Gupta, Vishal Sadhotra and Renu Uppal.
The participants were excited and thrilled by this online quiz and performed to the best of their ability.
The aim of this quiz competition was creating awareness among the students about the country’s rich heritage and to sensitize them to the cultural diversity of India.
The Principal Vandana Sharma and Vice Principal Shashi Rattan appreciated the flawless conduct of the event.
The entire programme was very competently coordinated and organized by Ranjana Chib, Activity Incharge with technical support by Rena Sanyal.
