JAMMU: Scholastic and co- scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, Primary Wing of JK Public School Kunjwani on Wednesday conducted virtual Fancy Dress competition for Class 3 students on the theme Janamashtami wherein the girls decked up as Radha and boys as Krishna.
The students spoke sentences on the character that they depicted followed by their scintillating dance performances. They lighted up the platform and mesmerized everyone with their laudable performance.
The purpose of this competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the platform and showcase their talent.
The best participants were selected and the winners performed on the Zoom Platform.
The show was anchored and judged by Bindu Kumari and Sumeet Ranyal of Primary Wing. The students were judged on the basis of their expressions, speech and the level of confidence.
Rashmi Nanda, Simranjeet Singh and Simran Chauhan joined the competition and appreciated the students.
The School Principal Vandana Sharma and Vice Principal Shashi Rattan applauded the students for showing their talent.
The competition proved a great learning for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
