JAMMU: Carrying forward investigation in Akalpur murder case, under Domana Police Station, clues of accused were traced in Chandigarh after which a team rushed there. Raids have been conducted at many places and arrest of accused is likely. As per case, on August 16, Deepak Singh, son of Janak Singh, resident of Gho Manhasan was passing through the area with his companion Jaswinder Singh, son Ratan Singh, the duo was attacked with sharp-weapons by some persons due to which both were injured. They were taken to hospital for treatment where Deepak Singh died during treatment. The police has registered a case of murder and identified the accused on the same day. It was learnt that the murder was done over an old enmity.
