JAMMU: Two persons including a woman got killed in separate road mishaps on Thursday. As per the details, Kanta Devi, wife of Late Janak Raj Gupta, resident of ward-11, who was returning from hospital, got hit by a bus which was on its way to Jammu from Billawar, near Vijaypur area while she was crossing the road. She got injured and was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The driver along with the bus fled from the spot. Police has registered a case and launched manhunt to nab the driver. Meanwhile, Ramesh Lal, son of Amarnath, resident of Bishnah who was riding on his scooty, also got hit by a bike in Arnia area and got injured. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
