Jammu: Continuing its drive against the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police wherein teams from Police Station Nagrota, Police Posts Beli Charana and Phallian Mandal acted stringently on specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized four different vehicles involved in illegal mining. The seized vehicles include a tipper (JK02CJ 3118) seized by Nagrota police; 2 tractors (JK02CR 8037 and JK02CJ 8037) seized by Beli Charana police and a dumper without Registration number, by Phallian Mandal police.
The vehicles were seized by SHO Nagrota Insp Mohd Showkat, Incharge Police Post Phallian Mandal Insp Anil Kumar and Incharge Police Post Beli Charana ASI Sanjeet Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
