JAMMU: Focusing on providing a clean and conducive atmosphere to the Ward-41 Residents, BJP Senior Leader and JMC Councillior Ward-41 Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Jatin Sethi and Ward President Ashok Wazir started the construction work of Drain at KC Hazuri Bagh Bohri.
In Ward 41, there were no drains in KC Hazuri Bagh before and rains caused chaos for locals.
Baru told that, the works will be done under the supervision of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) under the 14th Finance Commission’s Funds at an estimated cost of Rs 7.5 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar Baru said that this KC Hazuri Bagh locality is a new Colony where two hundred Flats and large number of new houses constructed in last few years but there were no proper drainage system. He said after long effort a deep drain has been sanctioned Rs 4.5 Crores under AMRUT savings and now after the Technical Sanction the construction of deep drain is about to start in days.
Shakti Kendra Parmukh Rakesh Sharma, Soarav Gupta, Sanjay Sharma, Mohan Lal Gupta, Subash katoch, Varinder Gupta, Santosh Gupta, Anju Choudhary, Ritu Gandhi, Mukta Mahajan and others were also present on the occasion.
