SAMBA: District administration Samba on Saturday conducted a surprise at mineral block Nud and seized two tippers for violating government directions and overcharging.
Deputy Commissioner Anuradha Gupta constituted a Joint checking team, led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajeev Magotra, laid checking Naka at mineral Block following reports of overcharging and non-adherence of government directions. The Joint inspection team seized 2 tippers for illegal extraction, over-charging & dumping and booked their owners under relevant laws. The Joint checking team included District Mineral Officer, SHO Samba, Naib Tehsildar and other field officials.
