STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Co-Curricular Committee of MIER College of Education organized an online poster making competition on the theme “India the Land of Festivals.” Prof. Adit Gupta, Director and Principal, MIER College of Education, Rupa Gupta, Joint Director MIER, HoD PG Department, Dr. Mool Raj, HoD UG Department, Dr. Rohnika Sharma, Deputy HoDs of PG and UG Department Dr. Nishta Rana and Dr. Monika Bajaj, along with the faculty members and students of both PG and UG Department attended the event. Sahiba from M.Ed welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, students and participants. More than 13 students of both UG and PG Department participated in the competition. The judges of the event were Sunita Gandhi, Faculty of fine arts, Model Academy School and Maneka Khanna, Coordinator Humming Buds-The preschool of MIER. Based on the results given by the jury, Veena Devi from B.Ed bagged 1st position, Shurti Gupta from B.Ed won 2nd position, Jyoti Choudhary from B.Ed bagged 3rd place and Mahima Maini from B.Ed Special Education clinched 4th position. A vote of thanks was presented by Nikita Mahajan from B.Ed and the programme was conducted by Manmeet Kour from B.Ed Special Education under the guidance of Komal Sharma Convener and Ruchika Sharma Co-Convener of Co-Curriculum Committee.
