JAMMU: Zone Satwari of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) on Tuesday organised selection trials to pick up teams in various sports disciplines for the upcoming inter-zonal district level competitions.
The selection process took place at twin venues of Government Boys High School Jammu Cantonment and Government Model Middle School Satwari grounds.
The selection penal picked the teams in under-14 age groups in both boys and girls sections for Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Chess, Carrom and Tug of War, a handout issued here today informed. The trials took place under the overall supervision of District (DYSS) officer, Sukhdev Raj Sharma, Satwinder Kour and Veena.
