BJP fully empowered women of J&K in every sector: Priya Sethi

JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party has empowered the women of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by introducing various enormous schemes for their welfare.
It was really an irony of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir that the women remained deprived of significant rights for decades.
This was stated by former Minister and senior BJP leader, Priya Sethi while interaction with women in connection with Amit Shah’s visit to Jammu on October 24.
The former minister said the Modi Government has done a lot for the women of Jammu and Kashmir by initiating several schemes. He asserted that the Modi Government stands fully committed to empowerment of women across the nation.
Priya Sethi said that after removing all the bottlenecks in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government’s key priority now is to focus on development.
The development which took place in J&K under BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi is matchless and speaks itself about the remarkable progress which this region has made after BJP took over the rein.
She said that keeping in line with PM Modi’s mission of ‘Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas’ that stands now transformed into ‘Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas Sab Ka Vishwas’, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing unprecedented development in every sector since Narendra Modi took over the reins of this nation.
“The erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir which was one of the best and most developed at the time of Independence became most backward state in the country. After Modi government came to power in the Centre we had been successful in getting major projects for Jammu and Kashmir from the Centre,” she added.
Priya Sethi said that October 24 coincides with Karva Chauth with several women observing fast of on that day and she might be remained busy whole day. She reminded the women of Jammu region that Modi Government has done a lot for women of the country and we should come forward to express our gratitude to Amit Shah as a token of thanks to the Modi government. The senior BJP leader said that this will be Shah’s first visit after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A from Jammu and Kashmir and this is the occasion to show how much we are grateful to him and Modi for this historic decision.
BJP activists, common masses and especially women benefited after the abrogation of controversial Article are eagerly waiting for participation in this rally.
