STATE TIMES NEWS RAMBAN: Third District Ramban Fencing Championship organised by Ramban District Fencing Association under the aegis of ad hoc committee of J&K Amateur Fencing Association concluded at New Convent Institute, here on Monday. About 50 fencers boys and girls participated in this championship under the age group of 14, 17 and 20 age groups. In the closing ceremony, DySP Headquarter Pardeep Singh Sain was the Chief Guest, Sandeep Singh Charak SHO Ramban was the Guest of Honour and Advocate Arun Singh Raju was the Special Guest. All bouts were held under the technical supervision of Anthony Mattoo of Department of Youth Services and Sports and Javed Ahmad, international fencing player. Results GIRLS: Under-17 Epee: Sneha (gold) and Manya Gupta (silver). BOYS: Under-14 Epee: Saaid Ur Rehman (gold), Umair (SILVER) and Shahid and Sayir (Bronze). Under-17 Epee: Irfan (gold), Mehjoor (silver) and Aqib and Saqib (bronze). Under-14 Foil: Mohazaib (gold), Abdul Qadoos (silver) and Fazan and Abdul Hadie (bronze). Under-17 Foil: Anzar Fayaz (gold), Touhid (silver), Raja Ikhlaq and Rashid (bronze). Under-20 Sabre: Masood (gold), Owes (silver) and Nadeem and Usman (bronze).
