JAMMU: Dr Ravi Kumar Mahajan, Chief Plastic Surgeon, Amandeep Group of Hospitals, on Thursday took over as President of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India on the occasion of virtual conference ÀPSCION 2021 organized by Dr RK Khazanchi, Head of Department of Plastic Surgery, Medanta Hospital, Gurugram.
Next annual conference APSICON2022 will be held at Amritsar in November 2022.
This will be for the first time that Annual Plastic Surgery conference will be held in holy city. Last National Plastic Surgery conference was held in Punjab 40 years ago at Patiala in 1981.
More than 1000 Plastic Surgeons will attend this conference from all across the country as well as around the world.
Dr Ravi Mahajan at present also holds the position of President of Indian Society of Surgery of Hand and Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
Dr Avtar Singh (Chief Orthopedics and Joint Replacement Surgeon, Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar) congratulated Dr.Ravi Kumar Mahajan on his historic achievement.
