BSS performs Kali Pujan on Diwali

JAMMU: Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS), Panjgrain, Jammu celebrated Diwali-the festival of lights and performed Kali Pujan at Ashram premises. A large number of devotees thronged the Ashram during Puja and attended the religious activity.
Further, a religious programme was organized in evening wherein Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta was the Chief Guest. Swami Bhaskarananda Assistant Secretary BSS Kolkata International Head Office, Swami Satyamitrananda Secretary of Jammu Branch, Swami Tyagabratananda Secretary of Diamond Harbor Branch, West Bangal and Swami Jayanathananda Secretary of Puskar Branch, Rajasthan besides other eminent persons of the area were also present during the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor highlighted the importance and history of Diwali celebrations. He further lauded the efforts of Bharat Sevashram Sangha for holding the event. Swami Bhaskarananda also gave religious sermons on the occasion.
After Puja, Langar was served among more than 1,000 persons including Sadhu Samaj, devotees and other participants.
