Children’s Day celebrated with enthusiasm at JK Public School Panjtirthi

JAMMU: India marks November 14 as Children’s Day as a tribute to India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who was born on that day.
Children’s Day was virtually celebrated with great enthusiasm at JK Public School Panjtirthi.
This day is dedicated to children and raise awareness and empower children about their rights, care, and education. The Class Teacher Suman Jamwal sang melodious song for beloved students. Jakiians louded various slogans to highlight the importance of the day. They recited beautiful poems to inspire the viewers. Jakiians also enacted a skit emphasising that it is important to save the children from prominent Social evils like child trafficking ,assault and child labour which is the sheer atrocity and wastage of priceless human resources.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah said, “Nehru Ji’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day in our country as a tribute to his contribution towards building the nation. Fondly known as Chacha Nehru always considered children as a real strength of a nation and the foundation of society.”
“Children are the torch bearer of future. A child is a tender Bud who in whichever way can be moulded. I bless my children-be wise, alert discipline, devoted towards studies respectful and friendly and loving. Stay safe , stay healthy,” she added.
