JAMMU: JK Public School Panjtirthi virtually celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti -a sacred festival that celebrates the life and birth of the great saint and the first Sikh Guru.
The students apprised the audience about the principles and teachings of the pious soul, Guru Nanak Dev.
A skit on his life and spiritual journey was virtually enacted by Jakiians which reiterated the message ‘One God’ and the ‘Eternal Truth’.
A serene and calm atmosphere was created by the soothing ‘Shabad’, sung by the Jakiians.
The students louded the importance of the day. They recited rhymes on the teachings of Guru Ji.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah said, ” Festivals are an integral part of our cultural fabric and it brings people together.”
She added, “Guru Nanak Devji’s teachings of love, peace, equality and brotherhood have universal appeal and convey the message of spirituality, humanity, devotion and truth.
