STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Yadav held a meeting with the border area farmers of Hiranagar sector with the officers of Border Security Force(BSF) Agriculture Department and Revenue Department and motivated them to cultivate their lands across the fencing Deputy Commissioner during the meeting, after listening carefully to the problems of the farmers, along with the Agriculture Department announced 100 pc subsidy for the seeds to the farmers where as the Agriculture Department would give 80 pc subsidy to the farmers for the wheat seeds. While 20 pc of the district administration will give, during the meeting, District Kathua Agriculture Officer Vijay Kumar Upadhyay informed the farmers in details about the other schemes of the department, during this time some farmers raised questions on the low yield of the crop across the cordon and said that so much Due to the low yield, it would be risky for those people to do farming across the fencing, redressing this problem, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, announced 100% subsidy on seeds to the farmers.
