The Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection in November grew by nearly 25% to Rs 1.31 lakh crore — the second highest monthly mop-up since the regime came into force.The healthy collection indicates economic recovery with normalization of business activity and increased compliance, the finance ministry said in a statement.
