Seven new cases of Covid-19 Omicron variant were detected in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Sunday. Previously, a 34-year-old man from Kalyan-Dombivli with a travel history from South Africa, had tested positive for the virus. All but one is asymptomatic at present. The symptoms are mild in one person, Dr Pradeep Awate, state surveillance officer said.
