SAMBA: Seven day Training cum exposure visit of 20 Beekeepers, drawn from different villages of district Samba of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, under Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba in collaboration with AICRP, Division of Entomology, SKUAST-Jammu was flagged off by Dr. R.K Gupta, Head, Division of Entomology, from KVK Samba. The visit of beekeepers of District Samba was organized under the guidance of Professor. J.P Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu and the aegis of Directorate of Extension, SKUAST-J. The seven day Training & Exposure visit from December 06 to December 12 to CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishav Vidayalaya (CSKHPKV) Palampur has been arranged under National Bee Board (NBB) project, Division of Entomology, SKUAST-Jammu. Dr. R.K.Gupta, Head, Division of Entomology; Dr. Vinod Gupta, Senior Scientist & Head of KVK, Samba; Dr. Devinder Sharma, P.I of the project (NBB); Dr.Saurav Gupta, Scientist Entomology interacted with beekeepers before departure.
