JAMMU: NSS unit of GGM Science College under the patronage of Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan on Wednesday observed National Energy Conservation Day also called Energy Efficiency Day under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. To raise mass awareness about the importance of efficient energy conservation, NSS volunteers wrote slogans and made posters on themes ‘Energy Efficient India’ and ‘Clearer Planet’ using virtual platform. The day also highlighted measures in which ordinary people can come together and lessen their energy consumption.
