Nowshera: In the efforts to empower local youth of border villages along the Line of Control towards employment opportunities and self reliance, Army organised a four week long vehicle repairing course in Nowshera sector. A total of 15 local youth participated in the course which focused on repairs involved in two wheelers and four wheelers under the aegis of Rumlidhara Battalion of Naushera Brigade. The students were ecstatic on the occasion of the closing ceremony wherein they were felicitated with certificates from CARE Education Trust, Jammu, recognising their efforts and gifted with repair toolkits for honing the skills that they learnt during the course. The event was marked by the presence of parents of the local youth and village representatives, who lauded the efforts of army and expressed gratitude for conducting various skill development courses under Operation Sadhbhavna in the far flung border areas of Nowshera sector.
