JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) had invited National Wushu team for a sports demonstration performance on the occasion of Republic Day at MA Stadium, here.
These international players from different parts of the country stayed in the city for a couple of days to practice and train for the demonstration in front of the august gathering yesterday.
For their performance, these athletes were today felicitated by the Secretary, JKSC Nuzhat Gul at the Sports House.
She expressed thanks to the Wushu Association of J&K and Dronacharya Awardee and Kudeep Handoo for the performance.
President Wushu Association of India, Bhupender Singh Bajwa was also thanked for sending the National athletes to Jammu.
