Ruhani of JK Public School Panjtirthi brings laurels

JAMMU: A moment of Pride for JK Public School Panjtirthi as a Jakiian named Ruhani Sharma of class 10th won a cash prize of Rs 10000 in the INSPIRE Awards-MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) scheme, being executed by DST (Department of Science and Technology) with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST. The objective of the competition was to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children. Selection of ideas/innovations was based on novelty, social applicability, environment friendliness, user friendliness and comparative advantage over the existing similar technologies.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah congratulated the Jakiian and said, “Heartiest congratulations to the winner. Those who try their best, always taste victory! “
