PM Narendra Modi on Saturday asked top bureaucrats to prioritise the process of filling vacancies in government departments so that job opportunities are created. The PM also asked the secretaries of central ministries to flag the shortcomings they notice in any government policy or programme to him rather than simply endorsing everything.
