Vachan and Pravachan

No matter what gunas or attributes a human might indulge in, Supreme grants each one the power to make one thing they utter come true, once a day, that is, once during the eight prahars or phases of the day, Maa Saraswati presides on his tongue making all he says at that particular time to come true. The human mind does not know about this moment, but everyone experiences it at some point in their life, when even a casual statement uttered comes true. This is called premonition or intuition.
But to know the science behind it and enhance it, requires sadhna, penance, which can be done only by a rare or ‘one in many’ visionaries. But it happens for sure – this is a law of Nature.
When a human synchronises or forms a connection between his thought, word and deed, then the layers of this mystery unfold automatically. Spoken words should not have undercurrents of raag-dvesh, resentment, instruction, complaint, appeasement, no weights of ego or sense of ‘doership’. They should have only one bhav of hitam vadam, priyam vadam, satyam vadam, spoken for the benefit of all, pleasant to all, truthful for all. When Truth is stated thus, not forced upon, there is no scope for arguments. Arguments are mere war of words and vaani vilaas, play of speech, to make others agree to certain points of view.
A discourse, pravachan is par-vachan –. paraya vachan, a stream of words flowing to eulogise the importance of the truth of the statements made by others! It also has the bhav of explaining the importance of personal statements made along with those of others. For this, one takes the support of kathas, stories, and examples from scriptures.
Satya vachan ka vyakhyan pravachan ke vyakhyan mein badal jata hai — the expression of statements of truth get converted into explanatory expressions of the discourse.
Vachan is a statement. It is a dialogue between souls. It has accuracy. Vachan is conducted one to one, whereas pravachan is one to many, thousands. The statements of the Geeta were addressed straight to Arjun. Amidst the teaming millions and a vast akshohini army, however, only Arjun heard it and each word, each shlok became a mantra. The statements that Yogeshwar Shri Krishn made through the medium of Arjun, according to the dharm of time and kaal, age, manifested as the Geeta. The truthful words form the Geeta, whereas pravachans only make books.
