JAMMU, May 3: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Yashpal, son of Chuni Lal, a resident of RS Pura District Jammu.
He received injuries after a car hit him near Sohanjana yesterday and was shifted to GMCH Jammu, where he failed to respond to the treatment and died.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of deceased was handed over legal heirs for last rites.
Phallian Mandal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
