The defence ministry on Tuesday terminated the services of three Indian Air Force (IAF) officers after a high-level inquiry into the accidental firing of a BrahMos missile early this year found that they had deviated from the standard operating procedure which led to the incident. On March 9, an unarmed BrahMos missile was accidentally fired and landed 124km inside Pakistan.
